Our krill harvesting vessels include the Antarctic Sea and the Saga Sea, as well as the tramper vessel La Manche.
Maintaining control of the vessels allows us to meet changing market needs and high product quality standards, as well as exceed the guidelines for a responsible harvesting operation. Our harvesting operations consist of a large crew at sea and a logistic hub in Montevideo, Uruguay.
Today, our core business revolves around harvesting, production, sales and marketing of krill-based products. We develop, market and sell the ingredients produced from sustainably harvested and traceable Antarctic krill to the animal and fish feed, food, dietary supplement and pharmaceutical markets worldwide.
Utilizing environmentally-friendly krill harvesting technology (Eco-Harvesting®) allows us to maintain the nutritional integrity of the krill and minimize environmental impact. This enables us to bring high quality products to market containing a high content of bioactive ingredients, e.g. phospholipids, omega-3s and astaxanthin, which have documented health benefits in both humans and animals.
